Printing Paper

When purchasing an ordinary printer, please refer to the following points for selection:

1. Paper thickness

The thickness of paper is usually expressed in terms of weight per square meter (grams). Generally, the thickness specifications of common printing paper and copy paper are 70 to 80 grams per square meter.

2. Paper density

The density of paper refers to the degree of density and thickness of paper fibers. If the fiber of the paper is too sparse and thick (that is, the density is poor), when using an inkjet printer, the reverse side will be soaked in water, and the printing effect will be poor, and it is also easy to produce paper lint and paper dust, which may damage the printer.

3. Paper stiffness

The stiffness of paper refers to the firmness of the texture of the paper. If the stiffness is poor, it is easy to encounter a little resistance in the paper conveying channel, the paper will be creped or even blocked, so you should choose the printing paper with good stiffness.

4. Surface gloss of paper

The surface gloss of paper refers to the brightness of the surface of the paper. The color of the paper surface should be white, not gray and dark, and the brightness does not need to be too high. Too high brightness is not good for the fixation of the image.

5. Dryness of the paper

If the printing paper has low dryness and high water content, it will reduce the insulation performance of the paper, which will affect the printing effect. The bottom ash will be large, and the paper jam will be easy to occur. Therefore, it is necessary to choose high dry printing paper. On the one hand, the paper should be kept away from moisture and stored in a dry and ventilated place.
