More than 130 years ago, the British Edward Hilley and Edward Allen brothers invented corrugated paper as a lining for the suction of juice. In 1858, Britain had the first patent to make corrugated paper.
In 1871, American Albert Jones patented the glass bottle in single corrugated paper. All the corrugated paper was used at that time. Until the end of the 19th century, American talents began to study the use of corrugated paper to make packaging and transportation boxes. In 1914, Japan began to produce cartons, and in 1920, double corrugated cardboard was published, and its use was rapidly expanded.
During the first World War, wooden boxes accounted for 80 percent of the transport package, compared with 20 percent of cartons. In the Second World War, cartons jumped to 80 percent of the shipping boxes. Corrugated boxes in China started late, and they were popularized in 1954.
Corrugated box as a transport package, not only economical, light but also easy to stack, easy to handle. It is a good transport container with high function and low cost and is also one of the most important packaging forms adopted by countries in the world.
