The key to the commonly used teapot is stainless steel bucket, paper bucket, and tin bucket. The paper bucket should be used as a gift, usually not as tea leaf storage. The paper bucket has poor air permeability and water resistance, which is unfavorable for long-term storage;
The tin barrel is a good piece of equipment for storing tea at home. Because the tin barrel is not easy to be oxidized by air, it does not cause a bad smell, and the raw materials of the tin barrel are too soft, so the sealing is stronger. However, the engineering cost of tin barrels is relatively high. If it is not for storing tea, it is not necessary to use in a barrel;
The price of stainless steel barrel is moderate, and the actual effect of storage is good, so stainless steel barrel is common for tea storage at home.
The stainless steel buckets for storing tea, which is of different sizes and large volumes, are not suitable to be opened frequently after being put into the tea leaves. A small bucket should be prepared, and an appropriate amount of tea leaves should be added each time. When eating, tea should be taken from the small bucket.
How should tea leaves be placed?
1. Very simple refrigerator storage: Frozen health care method. The tea leaves are packaged with compound packaging bags or sealed tea cans, and the vapor in the bags (cans) is squeezed out as far as possible. The tea leaves can be stored in the refrigerator for one and a half to two years. If put in the cold room, the tea leaves should be packed in double-layer airtight packaging to prevent reverse taste and keep the temperature below 5 ℃. When eating, take down the tea leaves and raise the temperature sufficiently. When the temperature of the tea leaves is close to the indoor temperature, they can be removed, so as to prevent the cold tea leaves from being exposed to the gas and meeting with the external cold and wet gas. The water solidifies on the surface of the tea leaves, causing deterioration. If the total number of tea leaves is small and very dry, it can also be packed with two layers of waterproof film bags with good sealing performance and put into the refrigerator.
2. Iron bucket storage method: put the tea leaves into the iron teapot with two layers of cover, so that it is full without leaving a gap so that there is less gas in the pot. In the method of sealed dry storage, select sealed utensils (clean the covered porcelain jar or tinplate), pack small pieces of quicklime powder in cloth bags, place them at the bottom of utensils, stack the tea leaves prepackaged into several opinion bags on the bags, fill the lid of the container, and put the utensils in a cool and dry place, which can be stored for about one year.
The actual effect of storage has been improved by sticking the gap between the outer cover with adhesive tape and packing the tea can into the double-layer nylon bag to seal the bag.
3. Convenient storage method of composite film bag: put the tea leaves into the composite bag, squeeze the gas in the bag, seal the bag with a sealing machine, put on the packaging bag, fasten the sealing bag, and place it in the lower compartment of the refrigerator for freezing.
4. Easy to use water bottle storage method: put the tea leaves into the dry water bottle, cover the bottle stopper, seal it with white wax, and then seal it with adhesive tape.
Another thing we need to know is the moisture content of tea leaves during storage: black tea can't exceed 5%, green tea can't exceed 7%. People should fry or air dry tea leaves first, and then collect them individually; tea leaves must also be protected from light and heat, so the natural environment for storage must be regulated.
